Peru 2023!

I am excited to share with you all that I finally moved back to Peru on February 26th! It has been so nice to get back to doing what I love in the jungles of Peru!

This year my main job has been homeschooling the youngest two children of the Arimborgo Family that I live with. There has been so much to work on, especially with the transition from school in Spanish to doing all subjects in English. The youngest is in 5th grade, and the older one has been finishing up 8th grade.

One of the things that has been so nice about homeschooling is the flexibility of scheduling. We are currently in the middle of ‘group season’ for the Arimborgos, and we have been able to go down to a minimum of school work and really focus on helping the groups that come to serve with Arimborgo Ministries. I love that both girls are able to work on their translating skills and improving their English in such a practical way with the groups here!

I also like that homeschooling gives me more of an opportunity to work on projects with HOPE! There are a few things that have already been started that I will be letting you all know about in future blog posts.

2023 has already been an exciting year of many possibilities, and more to come!
